Amsterdam based Dubliner Stee Downes has lined up the first release of his new album for the 12th of the month. ‘Caught Up’ is a fun-filled, poppy number composed of a groovy bassline, some sexy guitar licks and as always a stellar vocal performance. A great track to close out the summer for the Sonar Kollektiv man, who is for us one of the most under-appreciated Irish artists, a real talent in our electronic scene.
The release comes with a host of tidy remixes, which includes jams from Kyodai, Sonar Kollektiv A&R-manager Alex Barck and Paskal & Urban Absolutes. The Digital bonus tracks also feature Australian Rocco Raimundo’s remix and an instrumental of the original.
Moreover, make sure to keep an eye out for Stee’s collaboration with Flight Facilities, which is coming soon on the new album from the latter entitled ‘Down To Earth’.
For those who missed it at the start of the summer, Stee Downes featured as one of our podcast pioneers, rinsing a quality hour of his favourite deep tunes, which you can catch below. Free download too, so snap that up!!
