WWD March Showcase: Paddy’s Day Hangover Cure

Francoys
Dublin, Events
24 March 2017

This week has been a difficult time. The last few days we’ve spent yearning for another public holiday and a pint of Guinness; yes, the St. Patrick’s Day hangover is a struggle we must all endure. However, all is not lost, there is a foolproof cure to recover from your last weekend, it’s the next one. And boy, does WWD have some treats for you.

To get you warmed up for the evening, we have Jean Verriere, Matt Armitage, Shane O’Dowd and our very own WWD resident, Marcus. Guaranteed to groove your way to the headline act, Stonehouse. We are very excited for this.

Why are we so excited? Well for starters, Stonehouse has proved his producing artistry with his new remix of Jose Vizcaino’s ‘Lenguaje Universal’, out March 27. Fingers crossed he will be dropping this fresh tune on Saturday. If that isn’t enough, WWD have been gifted with a Select Cuts mix and an interview, from the Canadian born, London living DJ; check it out and hear for yourself what will be in store this weekend.

WWD won’t be alone at Opium Rooms this weekend. It is an honor to be joined with Route 94, who will bring his London game to the main room. He has produced tune after tune from tops labels such as Defected and Leftroom, and was part of the #savefabric compilation last year. Most well known for ‘My Love’, a track that has deservedly spread to dance floors all over the world. His bass-heavy groove productions will certainly be welcomed in Opium Rooms this Saturday.

So we did it, we’ve made it through the week. Even though we’re lacking a patron saint to celebrate for this weekend, we’ve at least given you a reason to get back on that dance floor.
