The Montreal community unites under the “Abandoned ___” series banner again this May for a one day monster party in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. The event, which has made it’s name reinventing abstract, vacant locales into vibrant electronic music hotspots, is taking over a vast school setting in the name of ‘Abandoned Academy’.
The effort brings together local collectives, including the likes of Husa Sounds, Front Rite, 8day, Octov, Ancient Future and more, for the one day gathering. The bill welcomes Diynamic pair Adana Twins, who will lead the outdoor soiree joined by local talents like Drol. (Live), Chiino and Risa. While late night proceedings will take place inside the school with appearances from Atroxx, Jimmy Be, Or Room, Johnny Messina, Rafa Pineda, Adam Husa, Kris Tin and Vowels & White.
