As the weeks go by, we will soon find ourselves in the electronic jungle of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), where out from the darkness The Garden of Babylon will appear, led by a list of musical spiritual guides to enlighten your soul. The Gardens of Babylon ADE slate TGoB is Amsterdam’s only event that specializes in spiritual house music, which works as a community based event series. In the past year, TGoB has succesfully produced two event series; The Gardens of Babylon, & Wild as the Moon, while also hosting concepts like Do Not Sit & Flying Circus. In the next coming months, International stages will be set up in Mexico and Australia, as well as India, and US on the horizon, not including the ‘unofficial’ Burning Man event that took place this year.
From Wednesday, October 18-23rd, a carefully selected line-up will act as spiritual guides taking you to the The Gardens of Babylon, where time and space know no boundaries, and the ability to re-take your place in this world comes to life. Amoung the impressive line-up includes YokoO, Satori (live), Kora, Jan Blomqvist (live), Damian Lazarus, Chaim, Blond:ish, Behrouz and more. The artists will be divided over three unique areas: The Gardens of Babylon, The Dark Forest, and The Tree of Life. The event has recieved international attention by many artists and fans, who are fascinated by the spirtiual music safe-haven concept.
To kick things off, in collaboration with The Gardens of Babylon is ADE’s spiritual meditation at the Conscious Club, a transformational learning and lifestyle centre alongside the idyllic waters at one of the most quiet canals in the city centre in the ‘Green Temple’. Next up on the 19th is Miami’s reknowned ‘Do Not Sit On The Furniture’, headlined by Behrouz. On the 21st, Sol Selectas Records is teaming up with The Gardens of Babylon to present their first showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event. Then, on the 22nd, The Gardens of Babylon will present The Seekers of Light, acting as the main event for this stellar showcase. On the 23rd, the closing meditation will take place in the Green Temple accompanied by a unique music experience to breathe farewell to ADE and restore your mind, body, and soul.
