23 January 2019

Dekmantel 2019 have finally announced their lineup for this years festival. For weeks before the announcement the website was adorned with a mysterious countdown timer. Come the day the clock hit zero, and one by one Dekmantels lineup was revealed on their instagram page. Over 100 artists were announced for the most eclectic and impressive lineup yet. The festival, which runs from July 31st until August 4th features everything from Techno to Ethiopian Jazz and everything in between. All the while remaining a standard bearer for what’s good in the world of electronic music.

Live performances come in the form of Vatican Shadow, RAMZi, Planetary Assault Systems, Bjarki, Terrence Dixon and South London Jazz Pioneer Yussef Dayes. Operating behind the turntables we have the likes of Dekmantel standard Motor City Drum Ensemble, Andrew Weatherall, DJ Fett Burger and one that we are particularly excited about is Ben UFO & Blawan playing together.

All in all this is shaping up to be one hell of a Dekmantel with tickets expected to sell out far in advance. Don’t sleep and we will see you there.

You can check out the full lineup HERE and check out our review of our time at Dekmantel back in 2015 HERE.
