For their second release of the year, Fur Coat’s Oddity imprint marks not only a landmark for their label, but a landmark for their own musical journey. ODT010 being the labels 10th release also coinciding with Sergio & Israel celebrating 10 years of writing, releasing and touring together as Fur Coat. For the past decade, the Venezuelan duo have continued to develop and push their sound. Releasing on the most revered labels whilst touring clubs and festivals globally, has all lead to the pair finding themselves at the forefront of melodic techno.

Realizing the dream of starting their own label, Oddity was officially launched in 2017. It has given the pair a platform to release emerging artists in the scene as well as a place to release their own recordings and works. To date the label has shared multiple EP’s and VA’s which have consistently charted strongly in the Beatport top 10’s and gained continued support from some of the most respected DJ’s.
To mark the occasion of the 10th release Fur Coat have put forward their “Pandora’s Dream EP”. Offering up three originals and a remix, the package is very much in keeping with the labels widely know consistency for quality techno output.

Opening the EP is the title track “Pandora’s Dream”. Every part a Fur Coat track it’s characterised by off kilter keys and a deeply atmospheric moment, making it perfect for peak time selection. Following is “Adagia” the second original from the duo which is accompanied by a stellar remix from Valencian artist Upercent. The original, an up tempo club offering is dovetailed nicely by the Upercent remix, which provides a grittier downtempo take. Rounding off the record is “Lonely Nights” a deep and rolling cut providing the transcendent moments the pair have become known for.

Adagia is now available on When We Dip! Enjoy!

Release Date: March 13th 2020.
