Head Of Cloud Records is a new record label that has been making a series of single-track releases that sit somewhere between melodic, deep house and ambient electronica.

Each of the label’s releases have been from the namesake owner of the label, Head Of Clouds. We don’t know much about the artists background, but his music has been speaking louder than words when it comes to his talent.

Head Of Clouds has roots in the Spanish club scene and has been releasing music that proves him to be a talented musician with an ear for a fine-tuned melody. Working at tempos between 100 BPM and 110 BPM, he uses free-flowing notation and offbeat percussion rhythms to give his tracks the feeling of being faster than they are.

After getting the listeners heart racing with a compelling sense of excitement, he then sooths the senses with delicate piano riffs, warm basslines and calming synth pads.

The fourth release from his called Imaginary is one of the slower examples of his sound. After the building suspense of the dusty pad sound and poignant piano riff, a four-to-the-floor kick drum gently guides the track as the fluttering synth line lifts the moods to create a contrast of emotions.

Hi-hats and other top end percussion add increased momentum to the groove after the peaceful tranquillity of the breakdown section, and the track finishes with a graceful climax as it fades beneath piano chords.
