Sol Selectas’ 9th editition of their ‘Summer Sol’ compilation features 25 tracks gravitating toward Organic House, but it also incorporates other genres including Downtempo, Afro house and Melodic House & Techno.

Each of the tracks on this release have a joyous sound that embodies the hot weather of these warm summer months, and the compilation is released on the day of the Summer Solstice to celebrate the year’s longest day of sunlight.

Collecting tracks from around the world, Summer Sol’s concept celebrates diversity, as regardless of race, religion or gender, we are all equal under the light of the sun. This year’s compilation has music with origins from over 17 different countries, and it embraces different cultures through local instruments, different languages, and traditional melodies.

One of these unique and soulful tracks comes from Desert Dwellers & Evan Hatfield, titled ‘Unbound.’

Desert Dwellers are a globally-recognized electronic music project hailing from the deserts of New Mexico and California. Inspired by the vast and rugged beauty of the desert landscapes, they have crafted a unique sound that has captivated audiences around the world and has garnered them a devoted following of listeners who appreciate their sonic oasis for the mind and body.

Fluent on sitar and in classical Indian music, piano, and saxophone, Evan Hatfield, is a proficient jazz musician working to combine these worlds using the glue of synths and electronics.
