Back in 2018, ‘Power To The People’ took the hearts and souls of DJs and dancefloors alike, instantly finding its way to the front of the record bags of legends Carl Cox, The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, and Luciano, amongst other titans of electronic music. The hypnotic beats and classic sample of Wildstyles cult hit ‘Renegade Master’ made it a massive anthem on the hallowed DC10 Terrace that year, from where it spread across Ibiza, and across the DC10 fence to Ibiza airport, where it went global.

Mother Recordings label boss Nhan Solo knows more than a thing or two about music. He couldn’t have chosen better than fellow Berliners Tube & Berger to remix one of the label’s biggest hits. ‘Power To The People’ (Tube & Berger Remix) lures you into delicious darkness of the club’s tech house room, where you don’t just hear the music, you feel it coarse through every atom in your body. It’s gargantuan from the very first horror-film funk beat, inviting you onto the dancefloor. Synths the size of church organs in this tech-house cathedral, and set to ‘John Carpenter’, control your arms, timbales percussion that takes a hold of your spine and makes you move like voodoo. Back once again, with the Renegade Master.

Mother Recordings said: “We are excited to present a fresh remix treatment for Mother Recordings 10 Year Anniversary by Tube & Berger, label heads of Kittball Recordings. The boys inject new energy and innovation into the awesome remix. ‘Power To The People’ is bound to be an absolute banger, especially with its more festival techy vibe, a true weapon!”

To celebrate the release, the duo take over the Main Mix, oozing groove from start to finish. It’s a seriously fun blend of sultry vocals, shimmering synths, and brilliant bounce. Enjoy!
