For release number 41, Manjumasi happily welcome back Vincent Casanova, a long-time friend and favourite of the label. With ‘Morning Light,’ Vincent presents a trippy groover built around a hypnotic pitched-down vocal that feels like it’s meandering through time and melting into space.

On remix duties, highly esteemed producer, Lawrence, who has turned in two reinterpretations of Vincent’s original. The main remix stays true to the vocal part as anchor, with an air of deep minimal sophistication, whereas the Dub Mix takes things into an even dreamier direction, dropping the vocal and opening up space for detuned synths to get a little bit more twisted.

All three versions have something to offer, whether consumed in that early morning light or the depths of the late night.
