Peanut Butter Orchestra, the Berlin-based duo of Konrad Ritter and Georg Wedel, are returning to their home base at Unreel Records with the ‘Pete Samples EP’, a playful yet purposeful four-tracker that navigates between funky rhythm science and club-ready dancefloor storytelling.

The EP’s two originals set the tone perfectly. ‘Crunch Time’ rides a warm, classic house groove full of swinging drums and a subtle wit, while ‘Future Is Neo’ opens things up with a widescreen optimism that is hard to resist. Together they showcase exactly what makes Peanut Butter Orchestra such a compelling project: precise sound design, loose organic energy, and a sound that works just as well on a big system as it does through headphones.

For the remix duties, Axel Boman steps in with two very different reinterpretations of ‘Crunch Time’. The Swedish producer, co-founder of Studio Barnhus and one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary house music, brings his signature sensibility to both. His Portlandia Remix slows things down and leans deep into atmosphere, turning the groove into a slow-burn character study. But it is the Sweats-a-Lot Remix that we are premiering today, and it is a different beast entirely: raw, physical, and built squarely for peak-time moments. Boman strips things back and turns up the heat, creating something that feels urgent and alive on the dancefloor.

Unreel Records, run out of Berlin and home to a growing roster of underground electronic artists, continues to carve out its own distinctive lane in the electronic music scene, with the ‘Pete Samples EP’ standing as another strong entry in a growing catalogue.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Crunch Time (Axel Boman Sweats-a-Lot Remix)’ exclusively on When We Dip Radio. Enjoy!
