Adding a new name to the Hottrax universe, UK-based DJ/producer Danny Snowden makes his first appearance on Jamie Jones’ imprint with ‘Double Header’, a two-tracker that showcases his long-standing affinity for classic house and rave influences. With previous outings on Limousine Dream, You&Me, Heavy House Society, and Dansu Discs, plus support from the likes of Marco Carola, Enzo Siragusa, Archie Hamilton, Prunk, and Chris Stussy, Snowden’s sound has steadily entered the record bags of key selectors across the circuit. Here, he channels that into a two-track offering that brings a balance of where he stands today and where he’s heading next.

‘Double Header’ leads with direct intent, driving drums, and flashes of old-school attitude woven into a tightly structured groove that keeps momentum front and centre. It’s confident without overcomplicating the formula. On the flip, ‘Believe In Me’ leans further into 90s references, nodding to classic vocal house motifs while maintaining a fresh touch. The balance feels deliberate: nostalgic in spirit, but engineered for modern systems. Focused and functional, both records highlight Snowden’s grounding in house heritage, while also reinforcing his position within the current wave of emerging UK talent.

You can now listen to the full premiere of ‘Double Header’ exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
