There are few names in progressive house that carry the weight of Hernán Cattáneo. The Argentine maestro has spent decades shaping the global sound of the genre, and his imprint Balance has grown into one of electronic music’s most respected homes for forward thinking dance music. Now he returns alongside fellow Argentine talent Tom Pavicich for ‘Bloom’, a luminous highlight taken from the brand new compilation This Is Balance Croatia 2026.
‘Bloom’ is a masterclass in patience and atmosphere. Cattáneo and Pavicich let the track unfold gradually, layering hypnotic arpeggios over a warm, rolling groove that builds toward a deeply emotive payoff. It carries that unmistakable sunrise on the Adriatic feeling, melodic, immersive and tailor made for the open air dancefloors that define the Balance Croatia experience. The chemistry between the two producers is clear, with Pavicich’s nuanced, Berlin honed touch complementing Cattáneo’s sweeping sense of musical storytelling.
The track opens This Is Balance Croatia 2026, the official 33 track festival compilation. Curated as both a reflection of the festival’s musical identity and a document of the wider progressive community, it gathers more than thirty artists from over ten countries, every single one of them appearing on the festival lineup. Alongside Cattáneo you will find scene figureheads such as Anthony Pappa, D-Nox and Kasey Taylor & Gai Barone, plus rising names including GMJ & Matter, Kamilo Sanclemente, Maze 28, Amonita, Dowden and many more.
The compilation lands ahead of Balance Croatia 2026, which takes place from 6 to 10 August at The Garden, Tisno. After the inaugural 2025 edition won the Ambassador Award for Festival of the Year, the now sold out 2026 event is one of the most anticipated gatherings on the progressive house calendar. With ‘Bloom’, Cattáneo and Pavicich set the tone perfectly.
