Rostock’s Carlo Ruetz, who many will known from his outings on Minus, SCI-TEC and ELEVATE, joins Matador’s RUKUS crew with a brand new four tracker in ‘Creatures’. It’s sonically awesome ensemble of power techno cuts led by the title track. Also featuring on the release is ‘Strangers’, a track you can hear in full premiere on When We Dip today. This is a harrowing cut, pumpin’ from the first kick drum. Ruetz combines a sleek, direct drum line with a lush melodic touch falling from a high synth to a brash low end element. Slashing hi-hats and interjecting fx ramp up the excitement, tying the track together brilliantly. Listen in full below!
