Ireland readies itself for easily the biggest Mainroom event of 2013 so far as Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike come to town. The pair are taking on somewhat of a mini-tour facilitated by Irish Dance promotors Residence who are renowned for bringing heavyweights Hardwell & Nicky Romero to our shores last year. The duo play Galway’s Bentley this Thursday followed by The Wright Venue on Friday with both shows expecting capacity crowds.

The Belgian brothers have witnessed an amazing rise to the top of dance music since 2010, exploiting the opportunity to compose the anthem two years running for what is now one of the most impressive festivals in the world; Tomorrowland. It provided them with a platform to turn heads and after following it up with a tonne of monster productions, they are now two of the most sought after DJs in the world. Their most recent hit ‘Wakanda’, released via Axwell’s Axtone Records, saw huge support and has fans waiting eagerly for the successor ‘Mammoth’ coming March 4th on Spinnin’.

The hype for this double header is something we haven’t seen in a long while with some diehards even commiting to both shows. In addition, their Galway date falls during the infamous Rag Week which is sure to be a potent combination (insert witty ‘Madness’ pun here). With a healthy support lineup that includes Residence regulars Simon Says and Yunisun and Benzo this will be a feast of high quality dance music.

P.S Repeat listening to their Tomorrowland set this year is advised!
