Chus L. Esteban, also known as DJ CHUS, started his professional career in Madrid in 1989, immersed in the acid-house movement at Club Alien. In 1992, he became a resident DJ at Kadoc Club in the Portuguese Algarve, where he witnessed the dance music explosion of the 90s and developed his style; in 1994, he became the resident DJ of the first House Club in Madrid, Teatro Kapital.
With the turn of the millennium, Chus founded Stereo Productions and eventually created the Iberican Sound. Chus is now a global artist performing worldwide regularly and has collected many awards throughout his over 30-year-long career, showcasing his wide range of music styles and unlimited love for different genres. His most recent project is Redolent Music, a new independent boutique record label and lifestyle concept created alongside DJ and Producer La Santa, whose purpose is to cater to the evolving music industry and develop emerging talent.
Slave to the Rhythm is his new event series, blending his two record labels to create a platform to produce outstanding dance music events worldwide.
We are thrilled to welcome him to our Main Mix series with a spectacular treat to start your weekend just right – an excerpt from his enchanting set at Future, Toronto, celebrating the one and only Danny Tenaglia’s 50 years behind the decks. Enjoy!
