The digital party lasted 10 hours and was held in partnership with Valhalla Music.

On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, Electronic Groove held its first digital festival with a lineup led by female talent from America and Europe. Artists from different corners of the world shared their sets recorded in Argentina, Spain, Turkey, Holland, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Colombia, and Germany, which were broadcast through Facebook Live.

Among the names included in this first edition were the Canadian Sydney Blu (Katermukke, Desert Hearts); Lauren Ritter (All Day I Dream) and Carlita (Cosmic Awakenings) from Bespoke Musik; Swede Malin Linnéa, and Hungarian avant-garde rebel Dansor (Comport Records) from Conflux; Pao Calderon, founder of DTL Records, born in New York and Colombia; Laurence Matte from Montreal, the talents of Barcelona’s Project08, the multi-instrumentalist Bodai (owner of Amitabha Records) and the Cordobean Jime Ferreyra.

‘At Electronic Groove we’ve been supporting artists from different music genres for over a decade. So, in the wake of everything that’s going on, it was a no brainer to do the first edition of our Electronic Groove Music Weekend. The invaluable support of these magnificent artists as well as our partners was without a doubt key in the success of the event.

The pandemic has been tough for the whole industry but it has also given the opportunity for other talents to shine. We are humbled and blessed to have the chance to showcase talent like these and helping promote their sound to our global audience.’ – Mauricio Viana, Founder & Director.

The ‘Electronic Groove Music Weekend’ festival was organized together with the Valhalla Music collective and had the collaboration of Conflux and Bespoke Musik. This digital meeting was a great international effort that shows the value of the union and collaboration in which we believe so much at Electronic Groove.

You can listen to the 10 hours of music that we enjoy at the ‘Electronic Groove Music Weekend’ festival on theiir Mixcloud, Soundcloud, Youtube, and Facebook platforms.
